The Working Group has prepared the following workplan.
The workplan consists of three workpackages (WP) , which were formed in terms of the following European
geographic regions:
- Northern European region, coordinator Erik Berge.
The participating countries are Denmark, Finland, Norway and the United Kingdom.
- Central European region, coordinators Guy Schayes and Laszlo Bozo.
The participating countries are Belgium, Germany, France and Hungary.
- Mediterranean region, coordinator Rosa Salvador.
The participating coutries are Italy, Portugal and Spain.
Within each of these regions, the following items will be addressed:
- Analysis of episodes, in particular the meteorological conditions
- Numerical Weather Prediction models and Air Quality Forecasting methods
- Meteorological pre-processors
